This year, an underwater research vessel named UPL was unveiled as part of the 21st International Kemer Underwater Days. The promotion was made by Associate Dr. and Head of Protection and Repair of Underwater Cultural Assets Department, Hakan Öniz.

Hakan Öniz underlines that green ship has a hybrid structure, and also adds that she has a pressure room for 5 people; “The pressure room saves lives in diving accidents. Again, there is an extremely modern pressure chamber made in Turkey on board’.
